Our Current fundraiser is to help liberate more prisoners in Malawi, Africa that have not received adaquate justice.

The prisons are in terrible shape and extremely overcrowded. Most inmates we want to free are petty theft due to poverty, are sick/old, some have been in for years without an actual trial. Cement Ship has already done two fundraisers and freed 44 people from Maula Prison in Lilongwe. Success!!

We are proud to announce the Peace Kapalo Education Fundraiser is completed! We have raised 3 years of college tuition, room and board through shows, sales, and donations for our friend in Malawi, Africa! Jan 2018 - Feb 2021.

Successful charities and fundraisers organized by Cement Ship:

• Lahaina, Maui family fundraiser

  Raised $500 for a family of 6 that lost everything, home/car, in the devastating Lahaina fire of August 2023.

• 3rd Maula Prison Fundraiser - pending results

  Raised another $355 from a music show to support the work Charles is doing with a few cases in the prison.

• Last Chance Community Fire Relief Fundraiser/Concert

  Raised $4,717 to help rebuild the Last Chance Community that was completely destroyed in the CZU Lightning Complex Fires, through raffles, shirts and ceramics, table ticket sales and band tips.

• 2nd Maula Prison Fundraiser - 18 people Freed

  Successfully raised $1,500 through playing shows and ‘Malawi Prison Gospel’ album sales to bring justice to, release, and send home people from Maula prison in Malawi.

• Maula Prison Fundraiser - 26 people Freed

  Successfully brought justice to, released, and sent home 26 people from Maula prison in Lilongwe, Malawi, Africa.

• Peace Kapalo Education Fund

  Successfully raised college tuition with regular fundraiser shows, music sales, and donations for our friend in Malawi, Africa from Jan 2018 - Feb 2021!

• Crisis Nursery in Malawi, Africa Fundraiser

  Raised funds to help a newborn/infant/toddler shelter for orphan babies who have no living family able to take care of them in Lilongwe, Malawi.

• When the Saints - Shelter for victims of sexual abuse in Malawi, Africa

  Raised funds and donations during several shows to help a shelter in Malawi of girls ages 5-15.

• Themba Mtegha Skateboarding

  Fundraiser shows and sponsorship organizing + gear shipped to Malawian skateboarder. Our goal is to build the first skatepark in the country.
